Musing Mondays

Musing Mondays are a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

This week’s musing asks…

Do you tend to read to the end of a chapter or can you stop anywhere?

Personally, I prefer to read to the end of the chapter if at all possible. But if time constraints don’t permit me to finish a chapter, I will stop at the closest page break. If I were to stop just anywhere, I would probably not be able to find right where I left off, which annoys me.

  1. It really depends on the book. Some things I find myself reading “just one more page….. just to the end of this paragraph…. I swear I’m going to put it down soon…. what do you mean I fell asleep with the book on my face… i wasn’t asleep, I was just resting my eyes!” Other books I can stop where ever and just pick it up where ever. If in doubt read from the top of the page while in my head saying “yep, yep, yep, ok, here we are…”
